Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully. By using ShadiMatrix, you agree to be bound by this agreement.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ShadiMatrix Matrimonial Services ("ShadiMatrix", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of our matrimonial matchmaking platform, website, mobile interfaces, and related services (the "Platform" or "Service").

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, browsing profiles, or using any feature of the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Payment Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be of legal marriageable age under applicable law (minimum 18 years for females and 21 years for males under Indian law).
  • You must be legally single (never married, divorced, or widowed). Married persons may not register.
  • You must register with genuine matrimonial intent — not for dating, casual relationships, commercial solicitation, or fraud.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
  • If registering on behalf of another person (e.g. parent/guardian), you must have their explicit written consent and authority.

3. Account Registration & Profile Authenticity

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile updated. ShadiMatrix may require identity verification (KYC) including government ID. Profiles found to be fake, misleading, duplicated, or impersonating another person may be suspended or permanently removed without refund, at our sole discretion.

4. Acceptable Use & Member Conduct

You agree that you will not:

  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or send obscene messages to any member.
  • Solicit money, investments, or financial assistance from other users.
  • Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, sexually explicit, or infringes third-party rights.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or harvest member data.
  • Attempt to bypass security, access unauthorised areas, or interfere with Platform operations.
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

5. Subscription Plans & Payments

ShadiMatrix offers free and paid membership tiers with varying features (such as interest limits, chat access, profile visibility, and contact reveals). Plan names, prices, duration, and benefits are displayed on the Platform and may be updated from time to time.

All payments are subject to our Payment Policy. By purchasing a subscription, you authorise us and our payment partners to charge the displayed amount (inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise). Premium benefits are digital services activated upon successful payment confirmation.

Auto-renewal: Unless explicitly stated at checkout, subscriptions do not auto-renew. Your plan expires on the stated end date unless you manually purchase a renewal.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

Refund eligibility, cancellation procedures, and exceptions are governed exclusively by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, logos, software, text, and graphics, is owned by ShadiMatrix or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for personal matrimonial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, profile text) but grant ShadiMatrix a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and process such content solely to operate the Service.

8. Safety Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

ShadiMatrix facilitates introductions between members but does not guarantee compatibility, marriage, or the conduct of any user. While we perform verification checks, we cannot fully verify the character or intentions of every member. You are solely responsible for your interactions, offline meetings, and decisions to share personal information.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShadiMatrix shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including disputes with other members. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to ShadiMatrix in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other members. You may delete your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases; provisions that by nature should survive (payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits) shall survive.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Laws of India, with courts at Mathura, Uttar Pradesh having exclusive jurisdiction. Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at official@shadimatrix.com to attempt good-faith resolution. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes may be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
